Nick's Old Fashioned Hamburger House - Best Burgers in Lexington, NC

It is a quaint and clean little place. It has outdoor seating under carports with fans in the ceiling. It smells like a bunch of burger grease when you go in there, which can be a bit off-putting. I got out of there with two burgers and one french fry with a $2 tip totaling about 25 dollars. I would say it's a bit pricey but I can also tell you that that burgers they had were extremely good. I'm not cheap I am a bit frugal but I just don't want to pay that amount of money for a couple of burgers and some fries. We drove in from Sunset Beach after seeing excellent video reviews to try this. It was worth every mile! The burgers were juicy, full of flavor, cooked to perfection, and had just the right amount of condiments to compliment them. The onion rings were crunchy and sweet. Fries were so hot and perfectly seasoned, and the ranch dip made them even better. The hot dogs were so good! Barbecue slaw made them the best, and the chili had just enough kick to make it sing. The petals sauce is spicy and had a great zing to it. The sweet tea had me singing and refilling the cup repeatedly. Even better than the food, was the employees. Every single person was smiling and happy, had something nice to say to us, and kept everything moving fast and clean clean clean!! We will be back for sure. Its such a great place!

Great friendly environment and great Place and great group of people that work there and enjoy what they do! The Food is amazing smash burgers are amazing. And the Philly cheesesteak sandwich is good too and the Pattie Melt was amazing and a great cheese pull! Done Food review on my TikTok channel and reviewed there food items and Nicks even like and commented on the video! Thanks for a great experience we will be back!

I drove from Charlotte because I heard nice things about Nick’s. It did not disappoint!!! You have the option to dine inside or outside. They even have a drive-thru…….The food and the service was awesome. Kylee took my order and welcomed me to Nick’s. Because of the employees as well as the delicious food, I will be coming back soon!!!

I really was prepared to be underwhelmed. I have had this place on my list of places to try for about 3 years. We finally decided to drive over to Lexington to try it today. The line was long. The wait was 45 minutes and we decided to stick it out. So glad we did. The burgers were fresh, flavorful and delicious. The perfect balance of toppings and meat. The fries were crispy and salty. We will definitely be back and will definitely wait an hour again.

Rated NC Best burgers so we had to defiantly check it out. Ordered mushroom & Swiss burger, pimento cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and onion rings with petal and ranch sauce. Delicious flavor Everything made fresh to order and the onion rings were crispy

Hands down, best cheeseburger I've had in all on NC. Welcome is a tiny town with gem right in the middle. Highly recommend

Not much to say- when the burger is so dang good all you can do is praise the Lord. Owners care about the community and it shows. The big Nick Mac is my go-to and it never lets me down. They also got that gooood ranch baby. It’s a little pricey but worth it. Very, very busy on Friday nights so be prepared for a wait. But when the locals love it you know it means it’s good! When they move to their new location I think they will have more room for seatings and cut down on wait times.
